Summary, etc This study wanted to determine if there is a significant difference between self-esteem and social behavior of grade 11 students. The research study intended to define the frequency of the self-esteem of the respondents.

The researcher made use of the descriptive method to approach the study and collect the desired data. Questionnaires that consist of the Rosenberg self-esteem questions and the 10 items questions about social behavior that were taken from chapter 2 were distribute to each of the grade 11 students. After gathering all the needed information, the researcher utilized the following statistical treatment such as the slovin’s formula, percentage, weighted mean and the t-test.

Based on the researcher’s study, 72 out of the 92 grade 11 students have high self-esteem and the rest of the student (20) has a low self-esteem. The researcher also found out that the level of social behavior of high esteem students is moderate and the level of social behavior of low esteem students is also at a moderate level.

The researcher recommends that People should still research about this but with a wider population in order to authenticate the outcome of the study. Respondents who have a low self-esteem should bond more with their friends so that they would be able to feel good about themselves and respondents who think that they are not good enough should start trying out different sports or activities that matches their personality and think that they are good at it in order to boost their confidence and give more meaning in their lives.
