Abstract:

The researches, reading and observations of the disaster in the Central Luzon in the year 1991 are an inspiring work to the researcher. It is privileged for the researcher to know more about the historical background of the place that her ancestors origin.

The work made the researcher appreciate the strong will of the people in affected areas specially the natives of Zambales. The rehabilitation of the victims is great effort of the different groups. Groups came from the government agencies and private sectors. It is learned in work that living with the victims the victims is a great help to determine the real needs that can be offered and the services that must be render.

The Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology were able to record the environment effect of the eruption. The Philippine Red cross were once became a helping and to help the injured victims. International groups were able to draft good guidelines in creating a new community for the affected citizens. Private sectors and Non-Organizational groups were able to help the victim on how they will become strong survivors. They inculcated the courage to these people that motivates them to uncover their creativity and talents.

It was observed that Filipinos are strong fighters. They can survive to any disasters. They can overcome fear and depression. They have strong will to succeed. These characters were attributed fro being handworkers.
